Decades ago I had read some books by Studs Turkel. He loved talking to people about their lives. I'm kinda like that. What you and your family are doing is fascinating. And I'm jealous. lol That's awesome to have 60 acres around you.

We are finding too, that there seems to be a difference among wild life from different regions. Deer are very skittish here, yet I have seen in other places like Texas deer feed from your hands. We feed the deer, a family it seems of about nine, every morning and every evening. They come around and actually watch us through the windows and wait for us to come out and feed them. Two years now. Yet when we come out with the feed for them, they run, stop, watch, and wait for us to leave for the most part. I am going to take some days this summer and just sit outside with the feed and wait for them to come. They are very friendly, just skittish.

How did the rabbits get in the boxes? You've got some olympic jumping rabbit there in Kentucky!

Kidding aside, you describe a beautiful place that your family will enjoy for generations. I enjoy getting to know you and really do look forward to some photos some day of what you folks are building. It really does sound amazing.
